THE NEED

At RAGIJI Foundation, our work begins with one undeniable truth — millions of children are still denied their right to quality education. In rural villages and urban slums, lack of resources, poor infrastructure, and socio-economic barriers keep young minds from learning and growing. This gap traps families in a cycle of poverty, limiting opportunities for generations.
We are here to change that. By combining modern teaching methods with traditional values, we create safe and nurturing learning spaces. Every lesson taught, every book shared, and every smile inspired brings us closer to a future where no child is left behind.

The need for education and health support in rural Madhya Pradesh
  • Over 30% of children in underserved communities have no access to basic education.

  • Only 1 in 5 children from economically disadvantaged families complete secondary education.

  • 63% of rural schools lack proper infrastructure and trained teachers.

  • Girls are 1.5 times more likely to drop out of school than boys in these areas.

Statistics illustrating the need Ragi Ji Foundation addresses

Since our inception, RAGIJI Foundation has been turning challenges into opportunities for change:

  • Established 15 education centers, impacting over 1,500 children every year.

  • Achieved a 95% school retention rate among enrolled students.

  • Provided nutrition and healthcare support to more than 800 children.

  • Trained 100+ community volunteers to assist in educational programs.
Yet, the journey is far from over. With collective support, we can reach more children, expand our initiatives, and create lasting change across the region.
